I have been on an awesome five day city trip to Barcelona and Madrid. Five days is not much, especially not when traveling is included. Seeing cities in ‘birdflight’ does have it’s up- and downsides. One of the downsides is the lack of time. You can’t go partying not visit every museum. The upside is that you get to see two awesome cities.
Although I already had flown a few times to the Barcelona- el prat Airport, I had never been in the city itself. Seeing all the landmarks from the sky is one thing, seeing them from street level is something entirely different. One of those landmarks I noticed from the sky was the telecommunications tower at the Olympic park.
This is my first post including photos from my city trip. In the next couple of days I’ll post more photos from Barcelona and Madrid. For the ones who only like film photography… Don’t worry. I don’t go anywhere without a film camera. But as you all know, finishing rolls of film, developing, scanning, etc takes time.. Be patient and stay tuned for more!
Torre telefonica is also known as Torre de telecomunicaciones de Montjuïc, or simply Torre de Montjuic. This tower, designed by Santiage Calatrava, was build to provide television coverage of the 1992 Olympic games. Situated in the Olympic park, this tower is one of the many landmarks in Barcelona.
That day the weather wasn’t as good as we hoped for. This felt more like Dutch weather…
