This is part 5 of my Paris series. After the sun had started setting, I tucked away the Mamiya 645 pro and I decided to go for digital instead of film. At that point I had already shot four rolls of film and I didn’t feel like it was worth wasting anymore film on the difficult light situation.
After a long walk from the Eiffel tower towards the Louvre, I decided to go back to my hotel, where I took a short nap. Perhaps one day in Paris is a bit too short. Especially since I had just a few hours of sleep the night before in Rotterdam (the first Thalys to Paris leaves way to early.. ).
After that nap I went out again and I only packed the Canon eos 50D. This is where the real fun started for me. I’m not much of a night photographer, but I had a blast trying out new stuff and experimenting with just the 50D. Perhaps it is important to note that I did not have a tripod with me..
This post is heavily ‘eiffel tower’ themed, but there is something magical about this iron construction. Especially at night..
