New film has to be tested. I did mention a few weeks ago that the roll of tri-x used for the photos in the previous two posts were my first photos taken on kodak Tri-x 400. After seeing the results I decided I wanted to shoot more tri-x 400, so I bought some fresh rolls of tri-x 400 (120 format). But I also bought a large batch of expired film (dates range from 10 years to 1 month), including a few rolls of Kodak tri-x 320 and 400 (both 135 and 120 format).
I was very curious about the aged film. I’ve never shot black and white film this old, so I had to test it. These shot are nothing special, just some simple objects (blinds and a whisky bottle). I Almost regrett wasting this film on testing.. The photos are a little underexposed, some more than other. I’ve had a little problem with the Mamiya lightmeter..
